Old Main Bridge (Alte Mainbrücke)
Würzburg's oldest bridge across the Main has belonged entirely to pedestrians and cyclists since 1990. Twelve Baroque statues of saints, each about four and a half metres tall, line the way. In the evening the city meets here for a Brückenschoppen, a glass of wine with a view of the fortress.

Town Hall (Grafeneckart)
The city council has met in the Grafeneckart with its Romanesque tower since 1316. After the air raid of 1945 the complex was rebuilt by 1951. On the ground floor a model shows the destroyed city centre, and in front stands the Vierröhrenbrunnen fountain of 1766.

The Neumünster stands where the Franconian apostles Kilian, Colonat and Totnan were murdered in 689; their shrine lies in the crypt. The dome and Baroque façade date from 1710 to 1716. According to tradition, the medieval poet Walther von der Vogelweide is buried in the quiet Lusamgärtlein garden behind it.

Next door is the Falkenhaus with its Rococo stucco, and the market is held in front on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
