From 27 November to 23 December 2026, the Christmas market lights up the square in front of St. Mary's Chapel and the Falkenhaus. From CHASE Apartments at Bockgasse 3 it is a six-minute walk to the market square, and just as quick to get home in the evening.

Besides the Christmas market, the Würzburg Bach Festival and the Night of Open Wine Cellars are worth a visit in November. Everything is in the Old Town, only a few minutes from your apartment.

Stalls with crafts, mulled wine and Feuerzangenbowle on the upper and lower market square, in Eichhornstraße and Am Grafeneckart, plus the artists' Christmas market in the town hall courtyard. Open Monday to Saturday 10 am to 8:30 pm, Sundays 11 am to 8:30 pm.

Under the motto “Bach and the Future”: the Mass in B minor in St. John's Church, an organ concert in the cathedral, jazz with “Bach meets Jazz” and chamber music at the University of Music.

Night of Open Wine Cellars

The city's four VDP wineries open their cellars in the evening for wine tastings: Bürgerspital, Juliusspital, Staatlicher Hofkeller and Weingut am Stein. The Bürgerspital is an eleven-minute walk from us.

The 2027 Christmas market runs from 26 November to 23 December, the Bach Festival from 18 to 28 November. The Night of Open Wine Cellars is on 20 November 2027.
